Questions and AnswersMisunderstanding (The Way We Think)

The question that I have been asked three times over the last few weeks is, “Why do men cheat”? The answer I responded with was, “I know you did not ask me that question”. To make that statement about fornication relating to men shows the lack of understanding of sin. Does sin only resides in men and not woman? Or has women based their thoughts on realities of life experiences.  To know sin, one must know the origin of sin, of humans. The bible says:

Genesis Chapter 3:9-19

9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Because of Eve’s disobedience and Adam’s acceptance and disobedience, humans were left  in a fallen state. Because of this disobedience, sin was ushered in and Satan was given access to Gods perfect image of Himself, man.

Now let’s discuss how gender influences and control’s the way we think and how our understanding has misled our thoughts.

Verse 16 says thy desire shall be to thy husband and he shall rule over you. The definition of desire is, a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing something to happen (yearning, longing, craving, want). When there is an unhealthy desire for someone or something , you become enslaved to a point where you become used, abused, and or destroyed. You become everything God intended you not to be.

Under the curse of disobedience men will use the desire of women to pursue the sinful nature of his own heart. So, for your desire these are the thing that comes with it.

Added to the sinful nature of man is Satan”s destructive nature. Satan and his imps feed ongoing thoughts to men saying, “you have the women where you want them, do what you will with them”.

So, to answer the question of why men cheat from a man perspective, because love or desire leaves you vulnerable to the person that you give yourself to.

To love someone leaves you susceptible to the destructive nature of the person’s heart. Without the Father’s Spirit (Holy Spirit) keeping you aware of the ugliness of that person’s heart, you give access to the lies and deceit of that fallen man.

We are in a world thats been given temporarily to Satan and human’s destructive nature, because of the disobedience. Without Gods intervention destruction is all that is left.

Pain, destruction, hate, lies, deception, and many other negative things leave you in a place of depression, hurt, unforgiveness, and most of all vulnerable. People use other people’s love every day for their purpose, other than the love it is intended for.

Imagine how the Father feels daily as we go about our lives destroying one another. Imagine His pain as He watches man destroys one another with the love He gave us for the communion of our souls. Who are we to administer so much pain that is causes our own destruction? But we say we love the Father and we love one another. This type of love we should live without.

Every human has a motive, without God. People motives drives the deception, which in turn controls the sinful nature of the person that we give ourselves to. The bottom line is Sin. Cheating is a fruit of sin. When has a sinner did the right thing for you other than his or her own ulterior motive? Their goodness is based on the things they can get from you, once the deception has taken place. So, to answer the question again “why do men cheat is to ask a liar why he lies”. A sinner does what a sinner do, destroy.

Love, truth, and goodness is of the Father. We are the fallen ones.  Regardless of what we think, we have two options in life. One is to serve God and the other is to serve Satan and the deceptive religions, truths, and misguided thoughts that he influences us to justify our existence. False prophets are here to make things seems as if it is true, but leads a person to their damnation.

One of our biggest fallacy is to categorize sin as if one sin is greater than the other. In our destructive nature we categorize sin to make it more acceptable and other times we make sin seem truthful and call it truth.

When we stand before the Holiness of God the sins that you walked in will become your greatest reality. The reality is, the sins does not come off, it is what and who you are. Before the presence of the almighty God stands the reality of what you truly believed. Example : So, when we think of Satan, we do not recognize the prettiest or greatest angel in heaven, we see the reality of who he is. The demon he has become.
