WHAT’S GO’IN ON?

Greetings brethren and followers in the awesome name that is above every name, Jesus Christ.

Philippians 2:-11 (NKJV)  Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Having heard the voice of the Lord by his Spirit, we here at flip the scripts take this time to post encouragements. We greatly admonish you to be steadfast in your faith in God and thrive in your walk with the Lord. We admonish you to draw ever so near to the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit) who has been given to us  also as a comforter, a strengthener, and a very present help in the time of trouble. We will here quote Psalm 46: 1-3 (KJV)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

Adversity and perilous times are upon the world as we were told in the word of God from both Jesus and his Apostles.  In fact, from Genesis to Revelation, man has been told of perilous times to come. From generation to generation perilous times have been greeted. Adversity and hardships, unrighteousness and unimaginable evils has greeted every generation from the fall of man to this present time. Many times because a tragedy hasn’t hit our front door we remain blind to this truth. Perilous times are increasing and are increasing at a pace to where our front doors will not be overlooked.  Apostle Paul reiterated this truth to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:1-4:

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  {it would do us well to intently define all of what Apostle Paul has named above in order to grasp the fullness of truth that shows the perilous and increasing time of which we now live}.
