CHANGE II

Often times when unbelievers go into the bible, they’re looking for a quick fix to their circumstance or situation, their problem. They become slightly acquainted with the written word having no real encounter with the Living Word who is Jesus Christ. The earlier saints: the apostles, encountered the Living Word and then was used by me to pen the written word. John says in the beginning; before what man calls time; was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

The Living Word brings the change that the written word speaks of. Believers as well go into the word of God and if they are not seeking change as well as the character of God, if they are not seeking for areas of corrections then change doesn’t come. One of my deeper griefs with believers who carries the ministry titles is this; The titles signify that the believer has the responsibility of knowing and living the word. The title says he or she is responsible for teaching the word and not only to teach but also to live the word of God. There are some who do not adhere to the written word themselves. Apostle Paul asks in Romans 2:21 Thou therefore which teaches another teaches thou not thyself?

The greatest impact made is not that which is said but that which is done. Instruction by word is essential for they direct but if instructions are not adhered to then instructions remain as mere words. Instructions acted upon brings change.

Believers must be different. Jesus came to change people not by force but by obedience. Change by force leads to rebellion but change by choice leads to obedience. The first advent of Christ left man with choice. All men were sinners by inheritance. Now in the era of Grace men are sinners by choice.

One very pertinent piece of information must be made known to all believers. I, the Holy Spirit of Christ am He who brings about change, newness and perfection to their lives however, I only change and perfect the areas that I have permission from the believer to change and/or perfect. Only the things the believer is sincere about changing are the things that will be changed and perfected.

This is why there are believers who can be so anointed in some areas of their lives and in other areas they are pitifully imperfect. This answers the question of how a brother or sister can pray, sing and preach with a very powerful anointing then talk so ugly or act so ugly, lie, cuss, bicker and fight in a hot minute. Change and perfection has not been allowed by the believer in those areas. I am only successful in the areas the believer gives me presidency.  Ask your question dear one.”

Me: Thank you Holy Spirit. My question is; How does this partial perfection affect the believer?”

H.S.Partial perfection equals partial usage. There are many sitting in the church houses grumbling, complaining, bickering and backbiting because they feel they should be placed in charge of certain ministries within the body. They’re upset with leaders, upset with sisters and brothers when the truth is they should be upset with themselves

Every ministry within the body of Christ should be in my charge. Jesus is the head of the church yes and I am the administrator of the church. Would you please define administer and administrator?

Me: administer is to direct or manage, have executive charge (2) to bring into use or operation. Administrator is a person who administers, one employed to manage the affairs of a government, business, institution etc.

H.S. Thank you. Now Let’s go to the Gospels. Matthew 3:1-2,11: In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, and saying, Repent ye for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

Mark 1:4,7,8: John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And preached saying, there cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. I indeed have baptized you with water: but He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water: but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose; He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire.

John 1:29-34: The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him and saith, Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, after me cometh a man which is preferred before me, for he was before me. And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. And John bare record saying I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not; but He that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and remaining on Him, the same is He which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

H.S.: Every writer of the synoptic gospels wrote “And Jesus would baptize with the Holy Ghost. Why? The reason being that without me there would be no effective ministry, no miracles, no show of God, no sound doctrine, simply chaos. What many fail to realize is that Jesus didn’t leave man in charge, He left me, the Holy Spirit in charge who would use man to accomplish what Jesus implemented.

Because every ministry is in my charge or should be in my charge and I know where every child of God is perfected and where they are imperfect; I place in charge those who will hear me to direct that area of ministry. I place in charge perfected people in areas of ministry that calls for the area they have allowed to be perfected. Maybe another sister or brother could do a much better job in the ministries of praise, prayer, helps, ushering, children’s ministry, homeless ministry, substance abuse, marriage and singles ministry and the list of ministries can go on and on, yet the brother or the sister hasn’t allowed me to perfect areas for usage in these ministries. So… these believers sit or work in other areas of the body and they do it with much grumbling and complaining. bickering and fighting. They’d love to work in other areas of ministry but can’t because of their unwillingness to let go of the things that hinders my move within the body.

ME: So then are you saying that there are people in the body of Christ who are not operating in the ministry you desire for them too.

H.S. This is exactly what I am saying. Because some will not allow change they sit or operate in other areas that really isn’t their calling. What an imperfect believer should do; and mind you they know that they are imperfect in areas; is 1. Submit themselves therefore unto God. The word therefore in this verse follows what James was expounding on throughout the first three chapter of the book.  He expounded on lying, backbiting, bickering and fighting, lusting, envying and jealousies, prejudices, immoralities and so many other sins that should not be going on within and among the believers.

Submit unto God simply means to yield or to give oneself over to the power and authority of God which is I.  I will perfect and use ones for the up build of the Kingdom

The second thing James says to do is to resist the devil and he will flee.  James says to resist the evil and selfish motives that drives believers to fight, to kill by mouth and display ungodly actions within the body. These actions show that the believer still has a friendship with the world. These characteristics are characteristics of the world and that should not be found within or among those of them naming the name of Christ.  The devil can only use what he can find in the believer.  Resist him and the temptations to do contrary to the ways of God.

James says paraphrasing that the word of God is the mirror that shows who the believer really is. Staying in the mirror will help the believer to submit the blemishes, pimples, and blotches that brings a disfigurement to the beauty of being a believer in Christ.

With this being said followers, I have to agree with the safety tip shared with me on my job. I must constantly check myself in the mirror of the word so that I won’t wreck myself.
