I was walking through my journal and came across this session with the Holy Spirit on 12-31-09 4:30 a.m.
If the wicked one can deceive you about the character of God and even people, then he’s got you. It is most imperative that you know your God as well as those of them who labor among you. The field of ignorance is the place of Satan’s greatest victory over people. Many are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)
Knowledge should not only be mentally or intellectually obtained and attained it should be mostly spiritually attained.
Your power over the wicked one is only as powerful as your knowledge of God and His Word. Limited knowledge means limited success in victories.
The weapons of your warfare are not carnal, but the weapons are mighty through God to the pulling down of the strongholds of the enemy.
Spiritual battles cannot be combated through physical strength. Always your major weapon is the accurate knowledge of God, His character and His word. Doubting both leads to failure and or defeat.
Breaking down trust is the key to disrupting relationships. A prime example of this statement is this: In a marriage all goes well until one of the partners or spouses commits adultery, mishandles the finances and lies. All goes well until one of the partners neglects or reneges on his or her responsibilities.
When these things transpire the offending partner is seen in a new light and darkness falls in their midst. Trust is broken, friendship is broken, unity is broken, walls are erected, fellowship and communication is little to none. Eventually with no constructive help the union dissolves.
In your walk with Christ there are going to be circumstances and situations that will make it seem or appear that God has forsaken you and that he doesn’t care about you. (Psalm 34:15). These circumstances and situations will make it appear as if the eyes of the Lord are not everywhere (Proverbs 15:3) and make it seem as if the fervent effectual pray of a righteous man avail nothing (James 5:16b) and make the promise of Jesus read “Lo I will not be with you always (Matthew 28:20b). Many circumstances and situations will make the Word of God and the God of the Word appear to be lies.
Knowing your God plays a very significant part in these times. Knowing the Word of God is most important in these times’
Because of a lack of knowledge of both God and His word, so many have fallen into the deceptive snare of the enemy by entertaining his accusations and taunts of God saying that God neither cares nor sees the believer’s circumstance and situation therefore God will not deliver them.
Not only does the wicked one accuse the brethren (Revelation 12:10) he also accuses God to the brethren.
God knowing man through and through doesn’t have to second guess man. He already knows what man will do however, many, not fully knowing God, will second guess, doubt, ponder and wonder about God leaving themselves open for continual attack from the enemy.
In the book of Job Satan accuses both God and Job. Job 1:6-11:
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto satan, whence comest thou? Then satan answered the LORD and said from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the LORD said unto satan , hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God and escheweth evil? Then satan answered the LORD and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
Paraphrasing what satan said: The only reason Job serves you Yahweh is because you bribe him with wealth, health and possessions. You protect him. Stop doing this and Job will curse you to your face.
How many professing/confessing believers are really walking with the LORD because of love and not for the love of the things He provides? God knows and satan thinks he knows. Without quality time in fellowship with God and His word testing times will finds ones second guessing God. The accuser will have a field day with their lives.
