WHERE DO YOU STAND? WHO’S ON THE LORD’S SIDE?

Greetings my beloved brethren in the matchless name of the Lord Jesus Christ and for my Jewish brethren:  Yeshua Hamashiach who is the author and finisher of our faith. We unceasingly render worship and praise to God the Father for His perfect plan of salvation in that while we were yet sinners, lost in the transgressions of our minds, body and spirit God saved us through His only begotten son who was obedient to the death of the cross to fulfill the pleasure of God our Father.  We worship the Father’s love, His infinite wisdom and perfect righteousness.

God has by His Spirit impressed upon us at Flip the Scripts with great urgency to post surmountable numbers of post, teaching on the blessed book of Revelation. Throughout these teachings you will read where we address two places: This side of the Jordan and The other side of the Jordan. These teachings will include much bible history both old and new testaments. We ask that you search out the scriptures referenced in these posts in the presence of God allowing the Holy Spirit to confirm, convince, and to convict.

What has prompted the following post with such urgency is the press of the Spirit that the gospel reaches its full potential and capacity on this side of the Jordan. There is an unsatisfactory amount of people dwelling on this side of the Jordan oblivious to the love of God and the depths of Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary’s cross. Witnessing and bearing the truth of this sacrifice in this mortal body has not reached its maximum as we draw ever so near to the coming of the Lord Jesus.  The coming of the Lord Jesus is not referencing the time when he will set up his thousand-year reign which will take place on the other side of the Jordan but a time when he will snatch away on this side of the Jordan a people prepared to meet him. This we will discuss more in depth as we move on into the word of the Father.

For those of you who have followed flip the scripts you can see that we have set the contents of Revelation on a page of its own. The reason being is that the teachings and topics are numerous, and we want you to be able to follow the teaching in the order by which it is written.

Just as you do not sit to read the bible in one sitting, please know that the contents of Revelation are written in like manner. You will not be able to read in one sitting. We have and are putting the teachings in sections by topics so that you can read, walk away, meditate, gain the insight that is for you and move on to the next topics at hand.

Please allow the Holy Spirit to minister to your hearts and minds in your travels through this site. We are continuously editing and adding to topics as we read and re-read the contents.  Thank you for your patience with us as we continually develop this portion of flip the scripts. We do apologize to you for not having all the teachings written and posted in its entirety. For His very own reasons the Holy Spirit has not designed this portion of the site to be in its entirety.  CHAPTER 1

 The Journey Begins

PRESENT JORDAN vs FUTURE JORDAN

(Very Important, Read Carefully)

We want to at this time explain “This side of the Jordan and the other side of the Jordan.”  This side of the Jordan represents the church age the place where believers and unbelievers alike are a part of. In other words; “The right here and now, This very present. This side of the Jordan is a massive result of Christ’s death, burial, resurrection, and ascension to God the Father from which he originally came.  This massive result culminated in the church age which simply means the Church of Jesus Christ on earth. The church age falls under what many of us label dispensation. Dispensation is simply a time and season in humanity when God deals with humanity differently. The church on earth is how God chose and chooses to deal with man in this era of grace where with the church, Jesus Christ is the head, and the body of the church are the believers. The church age is the era where God has chosen to indwell His people and He does so by the Holy Spirit who enters the spirit of man when he believes and receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of his or her life.  The church age according to scripture reigns from the day of Pentecost (Acts 2) to the rapture which is talked about in I Thessalonians 4:13-18. These scriptures are New Testament. The close of the Church age is what we define as the other side of the Jordan.  We strongly believe that the close of the Church age is a time when Jesus Christ will call from the earth people who have committed their lives to him through acceptance of his sacrificed life for us on Calvary’s cross: bearing in their bodies and lives the testimony of our risen Lord through whom salvation is given to them that believe and receive. This time is what has been addressed through the ages as the Rapture.

On this side of the Jordan man has no clue as to when Jesus Christ will call His people from the earth. On this side of the Jordan, we see signs in the earth, in the heavens that points to the coming of Christ or the calling away of Christ, but these signs do not indicate a year, a month, a day, or time. On the other side of the Jordan there will be believers and unbelievers.  Everyone who misses the Rapture or the calling away of the church is left behind as unbelievers. It is only after the rapture that many will believe in the lord Jesus and authentically accept Him as Lord and Savior of his or her life.

The greatest witnessing tool at that particular time in world history will simply be that cataclysmic move called RAPTURE. Therefore, there will again be believers and unbelievers on the other side of the Jordan with the believers growing at an astronomical rate. John the revelator said referencing the vision he was given in order to pen or write the book of revelation: “After these things I looked, and this is what I saw: a vast multitude which no one could count, [gathered] from every nation and from all the tribes and peoples and languages [of the earth], standing before the throne and before the Lamb (Christ), dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands;” (Amplified Bible) Rev. 7:9

From both the word of God and the many events that will take place on the other side of the Jordan, the believers will have a pretty accurate time of when Jesus will return. There will be much study of the book of Revelation during the tribulation period and the plagues and judgments will also serve as a road map as to where the believers are at that time in accordance with God’s timetable and where they are headed next. So, then as previously stated, the believers on the other side of the Jordan can almost pinpoint Jesus’ arrival. They know they will have 7 years to endure the most tragic time in the history of the world.

The other side of the Jordan are the peoples who will have missed the calling away of Jesus on this side of the Jordan. From our continuous study, we will see that there are people on this side of the Jordan who will miss the call of the Lord.

Many of those on this side of the Jordan who will miss the call of the Lord are skeptics who have heard the gospel of Jesus but haven’t taken the good news to heart. There are some who will miss the call, who have been raised in homes that taught about the Lord and were with parents or a parent that kept them in the church as children. As children they heard about Jesus and learned about Jesus by force and when they become of age, they reject Him by choice. Many of them reject Jesus in their hearts while still at home and have consciously decided to forsake the teaching when they are old enough to leave home.

Some people who will miss the call of the Lord on this side of the Jordan are people who right now go to church and are playing church. These people are faithful in church attendance. These people are able to even talk what we call the believer’s lingo…praise the lord, I’m blessed and highly favored, amen, and God is good all the time and all the time God is good, Oh Hallelujah is the highest praise, and the list of lingo can be pretty extensive yet, despite the lingo, their hearts that are viewed by the Spirit of God speaks in great volume the word DETACHED.  They look like believers and sound like believers but believers some of them are not. They are faithful to the positions that they hold in the building yet there is no faithfulness to the Lord Jesus in their hearts to righteously serve Him by being whole heartily saved by Him.

People from sects and religious groups who have made their own images and statues to worship it as God will miss the call of the Lord Jesus on this side of the Jordan as well. Any religion that denies Jesus as God manifested in the flesh, dwelt among us, was crucified, died, resurrected and ascended back to the Father from this earth to his rightful status before this world was created, will miss the call of the Lord Jesus on this side of the Jordan. Any religion or sect that denies the incarnation of the Lord Jesus and professes access to God through means other than Jesus Christ will miss the call of God on this side of the Jordan.  Jesus says in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comes to the Father except through me.”  “My friends it is Jesus or nothing.”  Any other means thought possible to reach the God of heaven and earth is futile.

The following passages of scriptures is applicable for both sides of the Jordan. ACTS 4:1-14 (New International Version)

The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people. They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people, proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. They seized Peter and John and, because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day. But many who heard the message believed; so the number of men who believed grew to about five thousand. The next day the rulers, the elders and the teachers of the law met in Jerusalem. Annas the high priest was there, and so were Caiaphas, John, Alexander and others of the high priest’s family. They had Peter and John brought before them and began to question them: “By what power or what name did you do this?” Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: “Rulers and elders of the people! If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed, 10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11 Jesus is “‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” 13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished, and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. 14 But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say.

Galatians 1:1-9 (New International Version)

Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead— and all the brothers and sisters with me, To the churches in Galatia: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. No Other Gospel: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one, we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

The babies and the toddlers will leave this side of the Jordan with the call of the Lord Jesus. There are many teenagers who are going to miss the call of the Lord on this side of the Jordan. On the other side of the Jordan many teenagers through ignorance of Jesus, will take the mark of the beast or the tattoo of the beast in their foreheads or on their hands, so that they can still enjoy what they call; “ living life” and this move on their part even though in ignorance; will lead to eternal damnation of their souls. They will never be able to “hook up” with God. Rejection is a BEAST.

We use this term because it is used by many to express that something is awesome, powerful exceptionally great and is to be honored. Using the term beast here we can rightfully see that rejection of Jesus Christ is everything other than Great. Being tattooed with the mark of the beast is an irrevocable decision that will lead you to an eternity of never-ending separation from God and an eternity of torture and torment. Once the decision is made and the mark is taken” YOU CAN NOT CHANGE YOUR MIND. YOU CAN NOT TAKE IT BACK.  Let’s hang out right here for a moment. How many times have we said or did something that was wrong, hurtful, and spiteful?  Once said or done, we could not take it back to be changed or disposed of. Yet we were able to become sorrowful and apologize for it and turn away from it meaning; to never do or say it again. This is what repentance is: A turning away from and having a change of heart and mind. The world loves to say repentance means to be rehabilitated. Rehabilitation means to restore to a former condition. God does not rehabilitate. God transforms. A caterpillar after becoming a butterfly can never be a worm again. Repentance from God’s standpoint simply means to be transformed or changed in both heart and mind with such change reflecting in outward deeds, behaviors, confessions and conversations.

If a person kills someone; He or she cannot take it back to erase and restore the deceased back to life yet, he or she can become remorseful and repentant, apologetic and change his or her future actions yet, the act itself is irrevocable. My friends and followers on the other side of the Jordan if the decision is made to take the mark of the enemy it will not matter how regretful and sorrowful you may become thereafter, you cannot take it back. Your fate is sealed to the lake of fire that was prepared for Satan and his angels in accordance with scripture. You will be forever lost. The one of the greater torments of being separated from the Lord forever is also the tormenting memories of the times you had to accept Christ while on the earth and didn’t.  What did Jesus have to say about what we just wrote? Let’s take a look at Matthew 23:41-46 from the New International Version of the bible:

31 “When the Son of Man (Jesus) comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ 41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ 44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ 45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’46 Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Notice that in these passages of scripture Jesus references two prepared places. To the people on his right, he tells to take their inheritance which is the kingdom prepared for man since the creation of the world and to the ones on the left he tells to depart from him into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. This lets us know that the lake of fire was not intended to be man’s dwelling place. Should a person go to this place of torment and eternal separation it will be by his very own doings and choice. God has made a way of escape from such a place through the man Christ Jesus, yet if we reject, shun, deny, and simply choose to live by any standards except the standards set down for us by the Lord then…a place of torment is where we will be. I know people say there is no such place. Yall…. God doesn’t lie. People do. I know people say that we are in hell now being on the earth with its tragedies and sins, but this is a lie.  Let’s take a look at Luke: 16:19-31:

19 “Now there was a certain rich man who was habitually dressed in expensive purple and fine linen and celebrated and lived joyously in splendor every day. 20 And a poor man named Lazarus, was laid at his gate, covered with sores. 21 He [eagerly] longed to eat the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Besides, even the dogs were coming and licking his sores. 22 Now it happened that the poor man died and his spirit was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom (paradise); and the rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades (the realm of the dead), being in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom (paradise). 24 And he cried out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in severe agony in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things [all the comforts and delights], and Lazarus likewise bad things [all the discomforts and distresses]; but now he is comforted here [in paradise], while you are in severe agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you [people] a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to come over from here to you will not be able, and none may cross over from there to us.’ 27 So the rich man said, ‘Then, father [Abraham], I beg you to send Lazarus to my father’s house— 28 for I have five brothers—in order that he may solemnly warn them and witness to them, so that they too will not come to this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham said, ‘They have [the Scriptures given by] Moses and the [writings of the] Prophets; let them listen to them.’ 30 He replied, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent [they will change their old way of thinking and seek God and His righteousness].’ 31 And he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to [the messages of] Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

My dear brethren, as we can see in scripture, hell is a real place apart from the world that we live in.  I know…. the bible was written by man, so people say. The bible uses scare tactics to try to scare people into serving God or the bible was written by man to control man. Well one of the most wonderful things that I have found through the study of the bible is the fact that no one is exempted. The bible references all of humanity regardless of his or her race, creed, color, age, financial status, where he lives or doesn’t live, what he has or doesn’t have. This bible hits everybody therefore, we are without excuse. To accredit the written word of God, its truths and revelations, its depths and power to mere man is blasphemy. Apart from God no man has the ability to know what the bible holds. Apart from God no man has had the ability to see and know beyond his or her next minute. Apart from God no man has had or has the ability to pen life changing information that effects humanity for centuries upon centuries. Apart from God no man has the abilities to look into the heavenly dwellings of God and the spiritual realm to see, know and relay to earthlings the things of God. No man or woman is that deep (as we can say).

As for the bible being a scare tactic: judging from the state of this world it would be rightfully said when stating the world is fearless of God. Look at its condition. Really…the state of the world at the present says, “there is no God” which by the way labels the world, meaning the human inhabitants: “FOOLS.” The Brenton Septuagint Translation of the bible quotes Psalm 14:1 in the following manner:
For the end, Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”  They have corrupted themselves and become abominable in their devices; there is none that does goodness, there is not even so much as one.

So, then this passage of scripture is saying that the corruptible lifestyles, habits, mind sets, evil and unrighteous practices of humanity is saying that there is neither belief and or acknowledgment of God.  This way of life says that man believes him or herself to be their own god, having to answer to no one and that he or she has the ability to do whatsoever he or she chooses. This way of thinking says: “THERE IS NO GOD, NO INDIVIDUAL HIGHER THAN MYSELF THAT I HAVE TO BE ACCOUNTABLE TO, IN AND AFTER THIS EARTHY LIFE IS OVER. We will surely find this to be a lie as we continue through our studies.

Young people you are being set up right now through the trickery of Satan to be one doomed for an eternity. The cars, the games, the money, the sex, the all about me mind set, the I do what I wanna do mind set, the rebellion against authority, the banging and gang banging, the om grown cause I; mind set, the stubbornness and retaliation mind sets, reveling and excessive partying mind sets, the drugs, pills, dust, drink, and herb that alters the mind known as witchcraft, the killings, the disgust for what is considered normal.; all of this and much more is a set up to cause you to miss God either on this side of the Jordan or the other side.

Let’s take a look at what Apostle John says in Revelation 13:15-17. “15 And he is given power to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast will even [appear to] speak, and cause those who do not bow down and worship the image of the beast to be put to death. 16 Also he compels all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the freemen and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead [signifying allegiance to the beast], 17 and that no one will be able to buy or sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.( Amplified Bible)

Rev: 14:9-12 “ Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “Whoever worships the beast and his image and receives the mark [of the beast] on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he too will [have to] drink of the wine of the wrath of God, mixed undiluted into the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone (flaming sulfur) in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb (Christ). 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day and night—those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” 12 Here is [encouragement for] the steadfast endurance of the saints (God’s people), those who habitually keep God’s commandments and their faith in Jesus.”

Not only will many young people miss the call of the Lord but many of the older generations as well. On this side of the Jordan there are preachers, licensed and ordained clergy that will miss the call on this side, but will become flames of fire on the other side of the Jordan. You see believers and friends; some of you will have to miss God in order to find him. Let’s not get it twisted now…. your salvation was ordained before the creation of the world, and it was ordained in heaven. Your names many of you, was written in the lambs’ book of life before the world was created, so you are going to make it, but it may mean that your making it will be through experiencing the other side of the Jordan.  Playing church is not without its consequences. Though some of you are getting by right now in the here and now yet, your playing of church and your rejection, your skepticism, your mockery of God, could very well take you to the other side of the Jordan. There is still an enormous number of people on this side who will make it from this side, and I sincerely pray that you are one of them. The call of God is not a game, and the call of God doesn’t necessitate or mean you becoming renown or a doer of great exploits. The call of God means just what it is: a call to live righteously united with Him whether you are used to do great wonders or not.

One of the more disturbing history that I’ve read in the written word is the story of Noah and the flood. Can we talk about this for a hot minute? Oh, sure we can.

Genesis chapter 6 verse 5-14:  The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Genesis 6:9-14: This is the account of Noah and his family.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth. 11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.

Genesis 6:17-22: 17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you. 19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.” 22 Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

Genesis 7: 1-6: The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.” And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him. Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth.

Genesis 7: 17-24: For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased, they lifted the ark high above the earth. 18 The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. 19 They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. 20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits. 21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. 22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. 23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left and those with him in the ark. 24 The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.

What disturbed me so about this portion of bible history is what I didn’t see included in the history. There were no children on the ark except Noah’s sons and their wives. The couples were adult age according to culture. There were no grannies and grandpas on the ark. Where were the elders?  There were no high officials on the ark. Bible history tells me that out of all the inhabitants on the earth during the time appointed for earth’s destruction; according to God’s timetable, there were only 8 people halfway decent enough to be saved? Isn’t this disturbing? Please know that Noah and his family was not a spotless people, but they were a united with God people. They loved God and their lives according to bible history were lived differently than those around them. Their lives spoke the denunciations of a lifestyle that would rob them of interactions with God, in peace.

The peoples of Noah’s day were warned of the impending judgment, but because what was predicted to happen was something they had never before witnessed…RAIN…the people didn’t believe. Water had never fallen from the clouds. Their present-day Jordan was destroyed by water and their disbelief caused them to ride upon the waves of this destruction until none was left. That destruction of the world by the flood, ushered in our present-day Jordan. Now followers since the Jordan of Noah’s day didn’t stand because of the evils and wickedness that brought forth the judgment of God; why do we think that our Jordan does not hold the same fate? Meditate on this.

Noah and his family were instructed by God to populate the world again. Can you imagine the many concerns those instructions from God may have brought to these 8 people? I can only imagine them heavily engaging in conversations around their dinner table one evening with the conversation going like this: “The Almighty has instructed us to populate the world again. What if this population becomes worse than the one, he just destroyed?” one of them asks. Another of the eight interjects another question from his wondering and troubled mind. “Should the populace become a people who are worse than the people just destroyed would we be at fault for those failures? Would we be the ones to blame?”

Not only was the task of re-populating the world bestowed upon the 8 people, but also the task of filling the earth with the knowledge of God was placed in their charge. Now some would choose to think that the 8 people could have chosen to not copulate in order to populate, but herein ly the strategy of Almighty God’s instruction. His instructions would be filled based upon the weakness of man with that weakness being the fulfillment of fleshly desire, the “I gotta have it syndrome.” We are talking about sexual intimacy here my friends. Would or could this couple of four in their own strengths suppress the sexual urges of the flesh? They were mates having a legitimate right to become one with each other and they would indeed utilize that right. It has been said that Noah and his family didn’t think along this line or didn’t think this far in advance to the instructions of God to even be concerned about the pending population. To this I say that there is nothing new under the sun and these concerns would be legitimate concerns of anyone who was instructed to do what this people of 8 were told to do.  I also would not be afraid to say that this same concern met Adam and Eve after they disobeyed God and sin entered the human race. I would say the answer to our first parent’s concerns was given through the act of Cain murdering his brother Abel. The fall of Adam and Eve ushered in Noah’s present Jordan conditions and the destruction of Noah’s present Jordan. The destruction of Noah’s present Jordan ushered in our present-day Jordan. The impending snatching away of the church (the true believers of God) will usher in the other side of the Jordan.

Dear friends we today are one of the many generations that has come to be because Noah and his family filled the instructions of God to populate the world again. The world has not been destroyed since the flood. How are we looking in comparison to the old Jordan that was destroyed in the flood?  We are looking the same as that Jordan looked and I wouldn’t be afraid to say that our sins have increased tremendously.  Where do you stand in this present Jordan? Who’s on the Lord’s side?

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE JORDAN

Even though many will miss this call of Jesus on this side of the Jordan they are not without hope. There will still be an awesome opportunity to receive the Lord on the other side of the Jordan, yet that acceptance will come with a great price. And there will be multitudes at that time who will be willing to pay that price to be with the Lord, united in righteousness throughout a never-ending eternity. This great multitude of people are those of them who come to receive Jesus as savior and Lord through the ministry of the 144,000 that are going to be sealed by God during the tribulation period to be flaming evangelist in spite of the insurmountable evils that will plague the world during the tribulation period. These evangelists are sealed and supernaturally kept by God for an amount of time to fill the purpose and plan of God of the gospel reaching every person in the earth. During the time of the tribulation and the Great tribulation there are going to be many gentile teachers and witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Gentiles are people of non-Jewish descent. At this time on this side of the Jordan there are many Jewish people who have yet to believe in the Lord Jesus and accept the truth of him being the long-awaited messiah that was foretold of by the prophets of old. The Jewish race by the way, are the chosen people that God loves with an incomprehensible love. This people are the ones God chose to carry his name throughout the world before the beginning of time. Bible history is filled with God’s interactions with this race. Bible history shows the multitudes of sins this race would knowingly do that hurt God to the core of His being. Bible history shows the many troubles the Jewish race would get themselves into by stepping away from and out of the will of God. This race would call on their hurting God, their disappointed God, their merciful God; and despite His pain, His anger and disappointment, God would step in and deliver them out of their troubles.  Does God have an unhealthy love for this race of people? No. He has an incomprehensible love for this race of people. God also shows this kind of love to us who are not of Jewish origin. We, even in this time, fall under the blanket of John 3:16 from the Amplified Version: “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Who’s on the Lord’s side?

THIS SIDE OF THE JORDAN

On this side of the Jordan Jewish Rabbis, teachers and scholars have been studying bible history; the scriptures. They have been studying the predictions and prophecies of the prophets with these prophecies or spoken word being spoken to them directly from God himself. God advised the Jewish race that their Messiah or Savior would indeed come yet, when he did come many of the Jews rejected him, denied him, wrongfully accused him, and cried out in all sincerity that he be crucified. If we can’t believe God, then we shouldn’t believe anyone. Millions of Jews today on this side of the Jordan missed God when He in the person of His representative came to the earth; namely Jesus Christ or Yeshua Hamashiach. Many of our Jewish brethren are going to miss the Lord again when He calls the church out and closes the church age. Many will find Him on the other side of the Jordan.

God has a number, and you’d better know my friends, He is going to get His. We pray that you are in that number either on this side or the other side of the Jordan. Unlike this side of the Jordan where many to most professing believers have a freedom to publicly worship God, publicly preach the gospel of Jesus Christ with not much persecution here in the USA; the believers on the other side of the Jordan will be pretty much in hiding, secretly spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of God the father. Millions on the other side of the Jordan will lose their lives when it is found out that they are believers and or followers of Christ. On this side of the Jordan evil has its limitations despite what you currently see. The Holy Spirit’s presence here in the earth at this time restrains and or limits the full impact of evil’s capacity yet; on the other side of the Jordan the fullness of evil’s capacity will be unleashed and there will be nothing that any human being can do about it.

Our topic of “Where do you stand: Who’s on the Lord’s side?” is a call to self-analysis, a call to spiritual awareness and examination. These examinations must take place before the word of God which is the mirror that righteously judges our souls and pierces the very depth of our hearts exposing what we many times cannot see, and others can’t possibly know except the Spirit of God reveals. These examinations must take place before the Spirit of God who is the only qualified agent in the earth to make an accurate and just diagnosis of our spiritual conditions and positions in Christ. Man, judges from the outside but God judges the heart and knows who is or isn’t His. Man judges the works and deeds of one another determining whether a person is righteously united with God. True indeed our outward deeds as believers and professing believers should line up with the Word of God and the Character of God yet a person can be seen on a day when pressures are high, and trials are intense, and he or she is not walking in the capacity of their profession.  We should not judge him or her to say that they do not know the Lord as Savior but should pray for them and encourage them if the Holy Spirit does allow a conversation to take place.

On this side of the Jordan there are people who think that they can work their way into the acceptance of God, work their way into the right standings with God when the honest truth is there is no work a man can do great enough to appease the Father except the work that  God has ordained before the world began. This work is the work of redemption. No one could redeem man, but God. There was no man good enough, righteous enough, or holy enough to satisfy the righteousness, and holiness of God. There was no man sinless enough to pay the price for sin. Can the blind lead the blind? Can the unrighteous make righteous or the unholy make holy? Can a sinful man make clean, pure and acceptable another man of sin? This is a 100% ratio of impossibility, and this is proven daily by the rebelliousness of people in the face of correction when it is offered by someone just like them. Haven’t you heard it?  Haven’t you heard people ask: How can you tell me what to do when you are no better than me? Or say: You’re not perfect so how can you tell me anything or even think to mention my wrong?  Retaliation is a fruit of sin. Romans 3: 23-24 from the New Living Translation of the bible says this: For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.”

I have heard people quote this passage of scripture numerous amounts of times and in hearing when they quoted it saddened me. Often this passage is quoted where there is an attempt to justify a sin of misconduct. Somebody lied, cussed, or spewed profanity. Someone fornicated, revealed confidential information. Someone gossiped and scandalized another s’ name. Someone knowingly cheated another person. Someone manipulated another for selfish gain. This passage is always quoted when a spiritual law has been broken through a fleshly act. This passage of scripture does not grant us the liberty to sin or continuously do what is known to be wrong. The passage of scripture grants us the freedom to be CHANGED FROM: “INTO.” Believers here are the truths about this passage of scripture. Sin falls into two categories: inherited sin and sinning after salvation. Inherited sin is the sin that passed from Adam to every human being on this planet. We were born sinners. The population of the world came through the loins of Adam. Not a big bang or some ameba, but through Adam. We were made sinners by force and not by choice. Romans 5:19 from the New Living Translation of the bible says this: Because one-person disobeyed God, all became sinners. But, because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.

The Addams Family /Inherited Sin

Dear friends we were classified as sinners because of Adam’s disobedience. Now when we name Adam this does not exempt Eve. Sin is our inheritance from our earthly father Adam, our earthly mother Eve. We did not have a choice in the matter. There was a sitcom some years ago entitled “The ADDAMS Family. This family, the Addams Family, consists of Gomez and Morticia Addams, their children Wednesday and Pugsley, close family members Uncle Fester and Grandmama, their butler Lurch, and Wednesday’s pet octopus, Aristotle, the dimly seen Thing, a disembodied hand, Gomez’s Cousin Itt and Morticia’s pet lion Kitty Kat.

Anyone who watched this show could see the abnormalities within the family’s dynamics. They were separated from much of what was normal and were in a world all of their own. To them people who functioned within the norm were strange. Their way of thinking was anything but normal and many of the solutions they’d come up with in regard to issues and problems was beyond any world known to man. The dysfunctions within this family even extended to the internal and externals of the home; the decorations and destructive allowances in the home which they saw as normal. One episode even showed Morticia feeding a plant from a plate of food with a spoon. It showed Gomez giving the pet octopus a bath in a hand tub of soapy water. Uncle Fester and Grandmama would create and partake of activities oblivious of dangers. Thing was a disembodied hand that survived evidently on will because there was no body, brain, or internal organs to help it to survive. Thing had no ears but could hear. Thing had no brain but could comprehend intellectually the conversations of the family. Thing had no heart or mind but could show emotions… Really? No members of the physical body were designed by God to work independently from the other body parts. Thing was a portrayal inciting separation and independence from what is really needed to make the body whole.

These abnormalities affected the entire Addams family. Well believers, so to does all of the abnormalities that entered the human race affect all of humanity, the animal kingdom, and also the plant kingdom. The question has often been asked of: “What is wrong with the world? The answer is that the world for the most part is in Adam operating in the sinful nature inherited from our natural or earthly father. If you have not accepted the Lord Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life whole heartily then know that you are still in Adam and operate in the fallen nature inherited from him. With this being said, be advised that a sinning way of life is ever present and not only this, but you are separated from God. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it and there is no softer way to say it. Are you being judged by us when we say this? No! You are being judged by the Lord who has spoken this and the written word that has penned this. Believe me when I say that every true believer before accepting Jesus as Savior came to this fork in the road where we had to either accept this truth or reject it. Every now believer has had to accept the truth that our conceptions of our own righteousness or being a not so bad of a person stemmed from our very own ways of measuring righteousness. But when we weighed our goodness and or righteousness against the very truths of Jesus, the Living and Spoken Word, we found that what we thought to be acceptable righteousness could be compared with spoiled food filled with maggots: sickening!!!  Apart from Christ there is no righteousness. Apart from Jesus we all are sinners and sickening before the Father even though he loves us. And it is that love for us that brought Jesus to this earth to suffer at the hands of the same sinners that he came to die for.

Normally when people speak on the sinful ways of individuals my first question is: “is he, she, or they believers?”  When the response to the question is no, I truthfully reply that those individuals are doing what they are suppose too…. SIN, do wrong, think wrong act wrong, because of who they are and who they belong to. Many to most people hearing this frown, get angry, and began to question. Being in Adam the first man of sin,  please know that you have what is called a sin nature. Having this nature means that you can’t stop doing what is wrong even if you have a conscience that convicts you of your wrongful deeds.

Let’s not get this twisted my friends. Just because many still walk in the Adamic or sinful nature doesn’t mean that sinning is justified or alright to do, because it is what you are to do as a sinner. God provided a remedy for that sinful nature through the man Jesus Christ. Keep in mind what Romans 5:19 just stated: “Because one-man disobeyed God we all became sinners and since another man (namely Jesus), obeyed God then many will be made righteous. Notice that the scripture says in Adam all became sinners, but in Christ Jesus many will become righteous. It does not state all. This lets us know that all will not receive the redemptive work of Christ. (Parenthesis is mine)

What gets the sinner man in hot water with God is the simple rejection of the provision given for sin, the rejection of the provision that bridges the gap that separates us from Him. Jesus is the man that obeyed God and because of this those of us who receive Him will be made righteous. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was just that, a sacrifice. What he actually did was made an uneven exchange. He took our sins and gave us His righteousness. He took our condemnation and justified us with the Father; those of us who have and will receive the sacrificial works of Christ. So, plainly stating please know that if any of you my friends, have not received Jesus Christ as Lord, and Savior of your lives, you are in the Adam’s family, you are a sinner and you will miss the call of the Lord on this side of the Jordan when He calls.

Let’s look at what written word has to say about this. John 3:16-20 from the amplified bible says this:

16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. 19 This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For every wrongdoer hates the Light and does not come to the Light [but shrinks from it] for fear that his [sinful, worthless] activities will be exposed and condemned.

SINNING AFTER SALVATION

We have talked just a bit about the first category of sin which is inherited sin. This is the sin nature imputed upon us by force made from the choice of our earthly father Adam to disobey God.  The bible says that Adam was not deceived in the paradise garden, but Eve was. 1st Timothy 2:14 from the New Living Translation says: ” And it was not Adam who was deceived by Satan. The woman (Eve) was deceived, and sin was the result.” (Parenthesis mine).  This very scripture lets us know that Adam chose to disobey. He was not coerced. He was not tricked. He made a conscious choice in ignorance to disobey. We say in ignorance because he was not fully aware of the depths of that decision. He was aware through the warning of God that on the day he disobeyed he would surely die yet, the encompassing depths of that death he was totally ignorant of. Adam did not know that his choice would affect the world from the time of his fallen existence to this present day over the course of thousands and thousands of years.

The second category of sin that will ignite flames of anger and fury is: Sinning after Salvation. This category of sin applies to believers and or professing believers only. The unrepentant does not fall under this category. This category of sin takes us to where the rubber meets the road.

Sinning after salvation is a subject that is met with much controversy. There should be no controversy about walking in the righteousness of God among the believers, but sadly and truthfully speaking, there is.  Let’ address the subject in this manner:

The New Testament’s contents are for the believer’s living and or lifestyle in Christ Jesus as being children of God. New Testament teaching admonishes us, encourages and exhorts us to turn away from a lifestyle that sent Jesus to the cross, a life of sin and separation from God. Throughout New Testament readings we will read about the do’s and the don’ts in our walk with Christ. In his earthly ministry Jesus Christ taught on the ways of the Kingdom. He taught on the expectations of the Father in reference to his soon to be children and kingdom citizens.

Sinning after salvation takes us to the lifestyles of believers that are contrary to the expectations of God and the laws He has set down for those of us who have heeded the call to live for him. Living for the Lord simply means to keep His laws and imitate Him. God knew that righteous living was not a lifestyle that man could achieve in his own strengths. If righteousness could be obtained by man in his own strengths and or abilities, Jesus would have had no need to come, the Holy Spirit would have no need to be here, written word would not have been given and angels would not be on assignment for those of us who are and are to be heirs of salvation. Notice that we have just named the three major factors of achieving a righteous lifestyle: Jesus, Holy Spirit and written word. Apart from these three factors righteousness becomes an unreachable achievement. Close to the end of his earthly ministry Jesus was talking to His disciples about the importance of staying connected to Him. In the 15th chapter of John, Jesus used the analogy of a vine and branches to drive home the importance of staying connected to Him and the dangers of becoming disconnected. Using the analogy of the vine Jesus said,

“I am the true Vine, and my father is the Vine dresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away: and every branch that continues to bear fruit He (repeatedly) prunes so that it will bear more fruit (even richer and finer fruit). You are already clean because of the word which I have given you (the teachings which I have discussed with you). Remain in Me, and I [will remain] in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself without remaining in the vine, neither can you [bear fruit, producing evidence of your faith] unless you remain in Me. 5, I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken off] branch and withers and dies; and they gather such branches and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be My [true] disciples. 9 I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]. 10 If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. 11 I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing.

This passage of scriptures is very detrimental to the hearing ears and bowed down hearts of those of us who have accepted Jesus as Savior of our lives and not Savior in confession only. In these passages we can see that Jesus addresses these two issues: the issues of heart acceptance versus mouth confessions. Jesus says that an authentic believer or true believer shows the signs. These signs are not temporary or spontaneous acts, but a lifestyle that bears His name and witnesses to His name and shows the Glory of our Father. The signs of being united with Christ is not the Christian verbiages that are uttered, but the lifestyle that is lived.

There are so many today as in times past who name the name of the Lord Jesus and their lives speaks in volume these words: “I don’t know him”. Their lives show forth the confession of Peter on the night that Jesus was betrayed into the hand of religious leaders who wanted our savior and Lord dead. The roman soldiers being led by Judas had arrested Jesus in a garden near the mount of Olives. Upon leading him away all the disciples abandoned Jesus except two: Peter and the disciple who the high priest knew. John 18: 15-18 & John 18: 24-27. Peter was warming himself by a fire that was outside of the palace where Jesus was being interrogated. This is what happened as he waited.

5 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples. He denied it, and said, I am not. 26 One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman, whose ear Peter cut off, saith, “Did not I see thee in the garden with him. 27 Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.

There are many professing Christians today who are warming themselves by the fires of God’s love, the fires of his provisions and protections; warming themselves in the credentials of His name yet, their lives deny our Lord and brings embarrassing and railing accusations against the kingdom of our Father. What believer having become one with the Father through Christ Jesus doesn’t talk about Him, converse with Him, doesn’t spend time with Him, doesn’t study and meditate upon His laws and precepts. What believer doesn’t seek to please and obey Our Father and yields him or herself to the Holy Spirit for continuous pruning and growth to the pleasing of our Father God. What believer does not do all in his or her might to turn away from sin and lays aside the weights and chains that will cause him or her to not please God? What we have instead by many naming the name of Jesus are peoples who are living lives of sin and attempting to justify that lifestyle with idiotic excuses of: “I’m only human” and “all sin and fall short of God’s glory and let’s not forget this one: “GOD KNOWS MY HEART!”.

One of the sadder moments of seeing a sinful lifestyle in the believers is the experiencing of the anger and rebelliousness produced when their sins are confronted. These shown emotions says that the heart is not pure before the Lord. I don’t know about you my friends, but I want to know and need to know where I fall short in my walk with the Lord. If I am a participant in unrighteous and unholy conversation I want to know. If I display attitudes that are contrary to the Beatitudes that Jesus says I should have in Matthew 5th chapter, then I want to know. If I am fornicating, shacking up, stealing, lying, cussing like a sailor, a gossiper or tale bearer, a sower of discord and confusion among the brethren and sisters, I need to know. If my times are spent too much in observations and indulgences with the world, then I need to know. If I give more of my time to the world than to the God of whom I say I love, then I need to know. If I am active in extramarital affairs physically and mentally then I need to know. If I am a cheater of my brethren and sisters through usury and manipulation, then I need to know. If I as a professing believer am dibbling and dabbling in occultism, magical arts, witchcraft, using things that alters my mind then bless God I want to know.  A good and wise person welcomes correction.

There are many practiced sins in the lives of professing believers, and it should not be. What is much more astonishing than the sins themselves is the ignorance that many have regarding those sins. I have had many and plenty of conversations with professing believers who did not know that certain activities that they were participants of was wrong, sinful, displeasing and not the ways of a child of God. I have had many conversations with peoples whose first response to their sins was: “I am under grace”. I perceived that these people’s responses meant that their practicing sins, their habitual sins were exempted.  The several questions that these responses posed, and poses is: As believers are we free to walk in sin and practice sin since Jesus was crucified for sin? Does professing to be a believer allot escape from punishment of practicing the same sins that unbelievers will pay a penalty for if no repentance is found? Since Jesus died for sin shouldn’t everyone do the unrighteous things that dwells in his or her heart whether it be murder, robbery, adultery, fornication, lying, stealing, rape, alcoholism, drug addition, abuse of all and every kind: spousal abuse, child abuse, elderly abuse, animal abuse. Should we, since Jesus died for sin, walk around in hatred and bitterness toward others, hold grudges and harbor un-forgiveness. Should we speak evil of brethren and bask in envies and jealousies and make slander and backbiting our songs of choice. Should we reject and neglect the poor and snuff our noses at the unfortunate. Should we withhold from the needy when it is in our power to give. Since Jesus died for sin should there be any laws about behaviors and conduct in this world at all, hey after all, Jesus paid the price, right?

GRACE

I find it overwhelmingly incomprehensible how professing believers expect and demand to be respected as a quote unquote believer when there is no respect, honor nor obedience to the Holiness and righteousness of God. There isn’t even a fear or reverence for him in a lifestyle of practiced sin. Grace has been made a separate entity from the Godhead bodily. Grace has been made a God of its own according to the concept of religious people. This grace allows and accepts what our heavenly Father does not. This god grace encourages disobedience, encourages sin, encourages rebellion against God and His Law. This god grace makes a pure mockery of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This god grace grieves the Holy Ghost. This god called grace blasphemes the Godhead bodily when viewed from religious people’s conveyance of grace. This depiction of grace has a stinking, unwelcoming savor, and this grace leads many into error.

The misconception of grace suggests several things. First and foremost, the concept suggests a divided heart. There are only three spiritual conditions of man’s heart. Every person’s heart falls into one of the three conditions. Upon taking an in-depth look at each heart’s condition please allow the Holy Spirit and the word of God to be your ministering guide keeping in mind one most imperative factor: everything that we have written thus far is to help us be a prepared people, ready to meet the Lord when he calls.

Please follow the discourse on the “Three Conditions of The Heart of Man.”
